We connect high school students with legal professionals, civic education, and real-world legal experience — building the foundation for careers in law, government, and public service.
"The law is not a distant institution — it is the framework of every community."
Barnes & Scott Youth At Law is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between high school students and the legal world. Through structured educational programming, we introduce young people to the legal system, connect them with practicing attorneys and legal professionals, and teach them the vital role that law, government, civics, and policy play in a functioning society.
We believe that every student — regardless of background — deserves access to legal literacy and the professional networks that can open doors to careers in law and public service.
